You might think that's a pumpkin, but that luscious yellow hunk o' fruit is an heirloom tomato the size of my face. I painted this at an art retreat in the Loire Valley when the strawberries were perfectly in season, and was particularly taken with the checkered fabric. This sunny study is part of my affordable art collection.
