Medlar Fruit (Moroccan Pottery Part II)

When a loved one is traveling, one way I can stay close is by painting what they're seeing. This is second of a two part series of a Moroccan beach table that I plucked out of a travel photo diary that made me feel like I was there.

The fruit featured here is medlar, a fruit I've never tasted. It must be eaten fully matured and is uncommon to find outside of the Mediterranean.
