I woke up to this view every morning for 2 weeks while I worked on a country house in the Bordeaux countryside in exchange for room and board. While the owners lovingly restored this chateau, I would spend my days weeding or making sausage the traditional way and daydreaming about different scenes I'd like to paint of the house.
