Ambrosia (Peach and Fig)

On a trip to Greece, I was captivated by the light and how it played off the vibrancy and color of the culture. The fruits were heavenly... food of the gods. I purchased this tablecloth at an antique shop in Athens that was as small as my bathroom but contained an Aladdin's cave-worth of trinkets. I pulled this hand-embroidered cloth from a bin and for 5 euros, plan to make it the star of many paintings going forward.
