Welcome to my mini painting auctions! This original painting shows the absinthe bar at the guesthouse where Van Gogh spent the last days of his life, taken on my day trip to Auvers-sur-Oise. I am always captivated by the charm of old French bars and how light reflects on metal and glassware.
This is an original acrylic painting on 2.5 × 3.5 inch (6.3 × 9 cm) paper. It’s an ACEO (Art Cards, Editions, Originals), a collectible format traditionally sold via auction.
I’m experimenting with releasing these as auctions as a way to make collecting original art more accessible, while still offering something unique and one-of-a-kind.
